A calming atmosphere for modern operating rooms

The expansion of the central operating unit at Clinic Gütersloh was designed not only to increase surgical capacity, but also to create a more pleasant and supportive working environment for healthcare staff.

Large-format wall cladding with Motiv in RESOPAL® Compact was used to give the new operating rooms an individual identity. Inspired by nature, the customised visual concepts bring a calm and understated atmosphere to the highly technical surroundings.

The customised wall panels are complemented by solid-colour RESOPAL® Compact in 0147-60 Affinity. Together, the two solutions create a harmonious overall design while meeting the demanding requirements for hygiene, durability and easy maintenance in a hospital environment.

Customised compact panels with Motiv in RESOPAL®

Motiv in RESOPAL® makes it possible to incorporate individual photographs, graphics and visual concepts directly into the interior design. For this project, nature-inspired motifs were chosen to soften the technical character of the operating rooms and create a more pleasant atmosphere. 0147-60 Affinity complements the customised compact boards and provides a balanced overall appearance.

Guaranteed hygiene for healthcare facilities

RESOPAL® Compact panels feature an integrated antibacterial surface that helps limit the spread of bacteria and supports high hygiene standards.

The non-porous surfaces are easy to clean and resistant to disinfectants commonly used in hospitals. They also withstand moisture, scratches, stains and the demands of everyday use.

The antibacterial surface has been tested against seven bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella and Escherichia coli. The surface contains no nanoparticles.
